Music has the profound ability to drastically change the way I feel on a day to day basis. Calming music can help me to relax when I am stressed out, agitated, or angry by entering me into almost a trance which helps me fall asleep, improving my mood and letting me forget about the issues in my life causing my negative emotions. It also provides easily accessible entertainment when there is nothing better to do, or additional entertainment while already involved in an activity. Fun music such as electronic variations or other fast, happy genres can improve my mood which in turn makes me more entertained. While entertained and in a good mood I am more inclined to possibly dance, sing along, or simply do some sort of physical activity. Music always manages to provide the required motivation and energy during physical activity such as running and weightlifting. When I listen to fast or heavy music such as hard rock or variations of metal it gives me an aggression I can efficiently utilize to increase my energy and keep me moving. Despite the issues in my life music is able to improve my outlook on a given situation by influencing my mood and providing me with the energy to accomplish anything.

Some people rely on famous people, or the internet to tell them how to live, what to do, but nothing influences my life more than music. Music is an art that expresses people emotions, ideas and feelings in different forms through the elements of rhythm and melodies and harmony, singing or playing instruments. My love and passion for music is strong. I like all type of music as long as I can bop my head to it. It makes the Day better when it’s bad, and opens a wide range of creativity for me and makes it easier for me to express how I feel.Pursuing a life in the music field is a dream of mine and making it brings all things in our minds to life. Without music we would be less expressive and understanding of the written work people make. Famous composers wouldn’t have the effect on us like they did. The influence of music can help, raise and save. It brings awareness and relaxation. I don’t know where we would be without it.

Music influences my life in many different ways, from the way I feel to the way I move: it recalls events and provokes my moods. I listen to all different types of music from Country music to Socca and Reggae. When listening to a calm beat it makes me feel relaxed and provides comfort to that current moment. However, when listening to a country song or soft rock, the lyrics of the song recall certain events that happened in my life whither it be tragic or up lifting. It brings me back to that moment where I’m feeling that particular emotion all over again. In addition, when hearing a fast and up to beat song; it reminds me of the days when I use to compete in dance competitions. I feel energetic and lively where my body gets jitters and my mind starts creating pictures of dance routines. In conclusion, different genres of music recall my past moments and bring present feeling. Music can make me feel calm when the beat is slow and bring excitement when it’s fast. It either makes me want to move or it puts me in a moment of relaxation.

  4. Music influences my life by relaxing me after a long day of work, and sometimes while I work. Music is a necessity when I just want to kick back and unwind, especially after I just finished a long, hard day of work or a stressful day of school. If I am doing a big job or a job that will take a while, music calms me down and it makes a big job, a little less overwhelming. Finally, at the end of the day when I am ready to drive home from a day of work or a stressful day of school (or sometimes both), I can always count on the soothing lyrics of “Jah Cure” to relax me for the drive home. As you can see, music is a huge part of my life; I pretty much need it to function. From a day of work or school to a relaxing weekend off, music helps me relax and unwind.

  5. Music lowers my stress level because it relaxes me and puts me into another state of mind whether it’s at home, driving, work ect… When I am at home and things are not going very well with family feuds I like to sit and listen too music and it relaxes me. It brings me too a state of mind where I can think clearly. When driving and there is traffic and people who are not doing so well on the roads I like to have the music on to calm the nerves and lower the stress level and have a more enjoyable drive. When at work and I am on break time I love to listen to some music to go in my own zone and not think of work for the time being it cuts off the work related stress. I have to say music is a big way where I can relieve my stress levels in a calm relaxing manner and feel like a champ afterwards.

  6. Music influences my motivation, It helps me to stay focused, determined and push myself to a limit I didn’t know I had. My mind gets into this mind state and I’m unstoppable! My influence by music motivates me to be focused, to stay on point and not get side tracked. For example when I do my homework I gather my things and head to the living room. Once I am settled I plug in my earphones and the music just puts me in this fasten mode. Apart from staying focused. Music also influences me to be determined; driven. With the rhythm of the song and the powerful bars when I either work out in a gym or jog on the track it pushes me to finish to the goal I had set .Setting a goal is one thing, but pushing myself to a limit I didn’t know I had is another. An example of me pushing my limit would be singing to Mariah Carey and hitting those high-long notes and not believing my own ears that I kept it for that long! I mean there’s only so much a girl can do… especially if she cannot sing, right? Music influences me in so many different ways. But motivation is what music influences me the most. Staying focused, being determined, and going that extra mile is all because of music.

Music helps me focus on something I’m doing. When I work out and listen to music it helps me stay motivated and keeps me going through the boring parts of my workout. I turn on my iPod when I’m doing school work to take away all the distractions. I especially like to listen to music when I go for a walks or runs. Music is a huge part of my life and it has helped me though a lot of boring parts and also changed my mood when I needed it.

  8. Music impacts my everyday life because it helps me deal with everyday life, it can change how I feel on some days, and it helps me express how I feel about some things. It helps me deal with everyday life because it can make me feel better about break ups or if I’m feeling sad or if I’m feeling stressed out. It just helps me deal with day to day situations. The songs just speak to me. I could be listening to a song and instantly relate to what the singer is talking about. It can change the way I’m feeling. If I’m feeling sad or having a bad day it can make me feel more positive. And if I feel stressed out, listening to the calming music helps me calm down and it helps me think about things more clearly. But if I’m feeling happy or excited it will make me feel even more happy or excited. It also helps me express how I’m feeling. Certain songs can describe how I’m feeling about someone or something. The lyrics say the words that I wouldn’t say out loud. Music is a common ground for everyone. It can make people stop and think about what’s going on in the world and bring awareness to those who are less privileged then us.

Music has an incredible influence in my day to day life. There is different music for every mood and/or situation. Some music will make me want to relax, while other music will give me energy. I also write songs for rappers, R&B artists, and other various artists including myself. I study poetry and the way it’s expressed, especially Hip-Hop. Music can make a very boring situation fun; time also seems to pass faster while good music is playing. If someone isn’t into the music playing it can make a few minutes seem like eternity though. Whether at a party, smoking a blunt with friends, or spending time with family, there is music for all occasions. Life without music is life without flavor.

  10. How Music Affects Me
    by Calvin Grant
Music influences my life in various ways, I can feel collective and calm or inspired by the message in the lyrics. When listening to jazz I can control my thoughts and relax my body and mind. Jazz is soothing music it abbreviates my emotions to minimal frustration. I feel collective when the song is just instrumentals where I can decipher the specific instruments playing. When lost in an oblivious situation, music becomes an extraneous method in search of Guidance. Hip Hop music transfers messages I can relate with over- standing my issues uprising my capabilities when devising a solution. I have colleagues of different races taking advantage of music to ease the mind whenever cornered into stressful situations, which comes to show not only Hip Hop music helps individuals but all kinds. In conclusion life will always have curves, bends, and even roadblocks it is your choice to understand, demonstrate and contest with your emotions reaching to a calm collective mind state.

  11. Music cheers me up when I am feeling bad because when I am mad I listen to music because it cheers me up and makes me feel better about the situation. Only certain songs can cheer me up when I am sad such as rock and roll songs, anything that is fast and has inspiring words such as the white stripes Atreyu right side of the bed will calm me down and helps me think about the situation better. Songs that have lyrics to do with the situation that I am in. I think when I am mad, sad, depressed or have issues between me and my family music plays a big part in my life when it comes my issues and problems that I am facing.
So that is why music comes in handy when im mad, sad, depressed or have problems between me and my family.

Music influences my life because it helps me stay motivated. If I’m at the gym, and about to give up on the last set , the music in my headphones pumps me up more and makes me do a few more. If I’m tired at work, I put on some motivating songs on, it wakes me up and get back in the groove. If I’m doing school work, I get frustrated and I don’t understand a question. I put some inspiring songs on, and come back to whatever I don’t understand. In conclusion, music has influenced my life, because it has motivated me in many ways.

  13. How music influence my life

There is one thing in this world that really helps me when I don’t feel alright or stressed out. It’s the magic of music. Depending on the type of music, everybody has their own kind of music to listen when we are not in the mood, per example while I do my homework, I really need to listen to music to gain motivation because it’s not easy to keep focusing. My level of imagination reaches the maximum when I listen to the music. Every moment has its music that comes with.-Irpan

Music is a form of relaxation in my life. I listen to music when I am stressed out and it helps me calm down. I play music myself, and sometimes when I play music I get in to it so much that I am not there anymore, and just a sound going to my head that is keeping me going and feeling good. Music is power full and I haven’t found anything that would help me out as much as music. When I am driving I have my music playing, I can’t find anything better than music to keep me focused even when I work out. There is one more thing that I need to mention, it’s the time when I do yoga. When I do yoga I play spiritual music which helps me to stay relaxed. In general I think music is a very useful tool that I can always bring to my life, and I also encourage to other people to use music in their lives.

Music is everywhere. you can’t go anywhere in the world without hearing some manifestation of music.Music speaks where words fail. Music reaches a deeper level of emotion that words never could; that’s what makes it so effective on my moods. If I listen to a song that has some memory attached (which most do), I end up feeling something to do with that memory, e.g. if I’m in a good mood and a song that reminds me of a sad time or someone I miss comes on, I’ll feel down or upset. I use music to help comunicate my emotions to people. I don’t particularly have a favourite music genre, although I don’t like rap, most so called R’n’B (even though it’s technically not rhythm and blues…), or techno/rave stuff. I listen to music all the time, very rarely there’s a day I don’t listen to any.I love raggaeton/dancehall/soca; I listen to it when I need the energy to stay focused on something that requires a lot of concentration for a long period of time. I think music can invoke certain emotions, I also think that is dependent on the listener’s state of mind at the time they are listening. A song that may seem upbeat when I’m blasting it on the stereo while driving through winding country roads may seem downright melancholy when played at a softer volume while I’m thinking of someone I haven’t seen in a while.Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn.

  16. Music is an unavoidable ingredient in my life. I don’t know about anyone else, but I know music is a very important thing to me and my life. Music influence in my life in different ways. Whenever I am in a bad mood, music lifts my spirits. Whenever I am feeling sad music makes me smile. Music changes my mood instantly. I listen to music at my work because my job is kind of boring so music helps me keep awake and focus on what I am doing so I don’t mess any things up. In the end I will like to say that music is immortal and completes my life.
